Dr. Eric Mondschein
The Heights Veterinary Clinic was founded in 2020 by Dr. Eric Mondschein, DVM, MPH, CVA, CCRT in Tampa, FL. Born and raised in Miami Beach, FL, he spent his childhood surrounded by animals and always believed in becoming a veterinarian.
Dr. Mondschein attended the University of Florida from 1999-2003, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. Dr. Mondschein attended Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine from 2003-2007. During this time he earned both his DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) and MPH (Master in Public Health) degrees

Dr. Mike Haworth
Dr. Haworth earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida.
At home, Dr. Haworth enjoys life with his wife, son, two dogs, two cats, and a collection of tropical fish.
An outdoor enthusiast, he spends his free time sailing, fishing, participating in endurance sports, and pursuing nearly any activity involving a bicycle. Recently, he began volunteering with the Special Olympics, helping athletes compete in local races by serving as a race guide.

Dr. Melonie Jackson
Dr. Melonie Jackson is a compassionate and skilled veterinarian who brings her expertise and dedication to The Heights Veterinary Clinic. A proud Florida native, Dr. Jackson grew up in Tampa Bay and has always been passionate about caring for animals. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida and went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2022.

Dr. Nicole Mayne
Dr. Mayne has extensive surgery training and travels to us for orthopedic and specialized soft tissue surgery.
With a special fondness for the operating room, she is dedicated to continuously enhancing her surgical expertise. Her skillset includes a broad range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, such as fracture repairs and TPLOs.
Committed to global veterinary development, she has interned with Veterinarians Without Borders, contributing to wildlife conservation efforts in Laos. She also volunteers annually with World Vets, participating in various initiatives throughout Central and South America.
