Dr. Mike Haworth

Dr. Haworth earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida.

At home, Dr. Haworth enjoys life with his wife, son, two dogs, two cats, and a collection of tropical fish.

An outdoor enthusiast, he spends his free time sailing, fishing, participating in endurance sports, and pursuing nearly any activity involving a bicycle. Recently, he began volunteering with the Special Olympics, helping athletes compete in local races by serving as a race guide.

Dr. Haworth is deeply committed to his profession and community. He currently serves on the board of the Hillsborough County Veterinary Medical Society (HCVMS), where he was president for several years. He also dedicated eight years to the Hillsborough County Animal Advisory Committee, including three years as chairman.

He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), and HCVMS.
