Dr. Melonie Jackson

Dr. Melonie Jackson is a compassionate and skilled veterinarian who brings her expertise and dedication to The Heights Veterinary Clinic. A proud Florida native, Dr. Jackson grew up in Tampa Bay and has always been passionate about caring for animals. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida and went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2022.

Following graduation, Dr. Jackson began her career as a small animal veterinarian in Georgia, honing her skills in preventative care and improving the lives of pets. In the summer of 2024, she returned home to Tampa to join The Heights Veterinary Clinic, excited to contribute to the health and well-being of pets in her community.

Dr. Jackson’s professional interests include preventative care, dentistry, and enhancing the quality of life for senior pets. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with pet families to ensure their companions receive the best care.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and learning how to play her favorite sport, ice hockey (Go Bolts!). She shares her life with her husband, Matt, their adventurous Belgian Malinois, Riley, and their two loving cats, Roo and Bear.
