Cynthia – Veterinary Technician

Cynthia is a veterinary technician originally from the Bronx, NY, who grew up in Lakeland, FL. She began pursuing her passion for veterinary medicine early, earning her CVA in high school before interning at a reproduction clinic. She is currently enrolled in college and has four years of experience in the veterinary field. Cynthia has a wide range of professional interests, including surgery, large animals, exotics, wildlife, neurology, and general medicine.

Her favorite part of the job is spending time with pets and ensuring they get the care they need. She also values building connections with clients by sharing stories and bonding over their love for animals. Cynthia loves being part of Heights Veterinary Clinic because the team feels like a family.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, going to the gym, and relaxing by the pool. At home, Cynthia shares her life with her hognose snake, Gagra; her pitbull, Toby; and her cat, Tigger.
