Alexis - Certified Veterinary Technician

Alexis grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and has always had a deep love for animals. She attended North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and is currently training at Hillsborough Community College to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).

Alexis has been working in the veterinary field for one year and has already discovered a strong passion for surgery and dentistry, as well as a growing interest in grooming. Her favorite parts of the job are giving cuddles, helping heal “the babies,” and knowing she’s making a difference every day.

At The Heights Veterinary Clinic, Alexis loves being part of an amazing, supportive team that shares her dedication to animal care. Outside of work, you’ll find her at the beach, spending time with her beloved cat Loca, or learning more about marine animals. Her ultimate dream is to become a CVT at a marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation center.
